Tracee Ellis Ross’s spur-of-the-moment bathroom photoshoots made for a pleasant distraction during lockdown – and much to our delight, they’ve made a return to her Instagram feed. Ross, who’s currently promoting the series finale of ABC’s Black-ish, took a moment out of her jam-packed schedule to praise Bottega Veneta’s recently appointed creative director, Matthieu Blazy, for his ability to make clothes “that allow me to feel like a billion bucks”.
She posed up a storm in her bathroom, wearing look 43 from Blazy’s debut autumn/winter 2022 show with as much aplomb as any of his runway muses. Beauty-wise, Ross’s look was equally vibrant, and included a knee-length plaited ponytail and cerulean-blue shadow on her eyelids.
The 49-year-old continues to bless our feeds with mood-boosting outfits, which, more often than not, have barely had time to leave the runway. Back in February, the clotheshorse teamed a Preen by Thornton Bregazzi pre-fall fuchsia pink dress (look 9, to be specific) with Versace’s highly sought-after pink Medusa heels. At the start of the year, she took to her Instagram account to show off look 11 from Proenza Schouler’s spring/summer 2022 presentation.
