We’re nearing the dreaded middle of winter, which can feel like a drag. But Katie Holmes has exactly what we need to face the cold and get through the difficult, post-holiday dry spell: a chic, unbelievably good coat — and some retail therapy, of course.
On Monday, the 43-year-old actress stepped out in New York City in a long, forest green coat. Holmes protected herself from the cold temperatures by keeping the double-breasted topper buttoned over a striped sweater and eggplant-colored sweatpants.
She accessorized with a pale green quilted Chanel crossbody handbag, sneakers, a silver pendant necklace, and a cheetah-print face mask. Her hair was done up in a messy bun and she also carried a black tote bag.
Over the weekend, the star wished her fans a Happy New Year via Instagram with a photo of a floral centerpiece, tea light candles, and other knickknacks.
