We can always count on Kristen Stewart to turn out an array of beguiling red carpet outfits when award season rolls around. A day after the Chanel ambassador attended the Spirit Awards in an iridescent sequin pre-fall 2022 outfit from the storied house, the first-time Oscar nominee further solidified her fashion credentials in another head-turning white ensemble.
Stewart, nominated for her role as Diana, Princess of Wales, in Spencer, graced the red carpet at The Hollywood Reporter’s Oscar Nominees night in Los Angeles wearing a polished outfit comprised of a strapless top and pencil skirt by Maticevski. The 31-year-old, who typically leads with a less is more approach by day and dials up her grungy style by night, added white scalloped Christian Louboutin heels and a smattering of silver jewellery. Beauty-wise, the same low-key rules were applied. The A-lister opted for a side-part and smoky eyes for optimum impact.
Stewart and her longtime stylist, Tara Sweenen, have a knack for elevating a look with a few daring styling tricks. Whether it be toughening up haute couture Chanel with a crop top and quiff, or accessorising a film festival outfit with creepers (remember those?), no one nails rebellious dressing quite like the Hollywood star.
